Srinagar, Oct (day) (KSU):Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Announced Class 10th Date Sheet For Annual Regular Kashmir Division Session 2021

As per the date sheet notified by the board, the class 10th examination session 2021 is slated from 20-11-2021 this year and would culminate on 06-12-2021

Pertinently, the government in the second week of August has reduced the syllabi of secondary and higher secondary classes of Jammu and Kashmir by thirty percent following the closure of schools in view of COVID-19 pandemic.(KSU)

Government employees to get Rs 2000 ‘secretariat allowance’

Jammu: All J&K government employees working in civil secretariat Srinagar and Jammu as well as in the offices of Head of Departments (HoDs) situated outside the secretariat would get a “secretariat allowance” at a uniform rate of Rs 2000 per month. However, only the full-time government employees and not the employees on a contract, consolidated rates of pay, or part-time employees would be entitled to this allowance admissible throughout the year. The allowance has been granted with a retrospective effect from 1 November 2021.
