Exams slated till Jan 22 to be held as per schedule: JKSSB Almost 12000 posts to be advertised soon: Chairman Owais Gul Srinagar, Jan 17 (KNO): Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB), Khalid Jahangir on Monday said that the examinations scheduled to be held till January 22, will be conducted, as per the schedule and that almost 12,000 posts will be advertised soon. Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the SSB chairman said that there has been no decision regarding the postponement of the examinations at present. “We have conducted the exams on time and the next tests will be held as per the routine during which the Covid protocols will be followed strictly,” he said. Nonetheless, he added that a decision with regard to the postponement of the examinations can be reviewed if there are fresh directions from the administration as well as the Disaster Management. NTA UGC NET 2021: Time table released for Phase II exam at ugcnet.nta.nic.in - Check schedule here UGC-NET Phase II exam schedule: NTA has released the UGC NET 2021 Phase II timetable. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the timetable for UGC NET 2021 Phase II. The exam for the National Eligibility Test Phase II exam for the December 2020 and June 2021 cycle is scheduled to be held from December 24 to December 27, 2021. Srinagar, Oct 25: Government has issued fresh covid-19 guidelines, among others mandating “consent by parents or legal guardians” for students of 10th and 12th class for taking examinations in Jammu and Kashmir. Offline Board Examinations for 12th and 10th classes have been permitted to be held in staggered manner keeping in view all the social distancing norms and Covid Appropriate Behaviour. All the concerned institutions have been asked to ensure that all the students coming to the examinations venue shall carry consent for each examination duly signed by their parents/legal guardians. “The sanitisation of the examination hall, furniture and toilets should be carried out daily before and after the exams,” read the fresh guidelines, issued by Chief Secretary (Chairperson, State Executive Committee. New Delhi : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday allowed students of Class X, XII to change their examination centres for the upcoming Term 1 examination in CBSE a statement, informed, “Class X and XII students who are not in the city of their schools and are residing somewhere else, at an appropriate time CBSE will inform them to make a request to their respective schools to change the city of examination centre. Schools will follow the instructions given by CBSE.” CBSE has further instructed the students to remain in touch with the official website for further notifications. Term 1 exams will take place in November-December. For class X, exams will take place from November 30 to December 11 and for Class 12, the exams will be held from December 1 to December 22. SCERT proposes holding class 8th exams from mid November through offline mode Srinagar, Oct 18: The State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) J&K, has proposed that the annual regular (2021) examination of class 8th students be conducted from mid-November through an offline mode. An SCERT official said a proposal in this connection has been sent to the administrative department for its approval to hold the class 8th examination from the proposed dates through offline mode. “These days we need to get approval from State Disaster Management Authorities (SDMA) for holding any examination through offline mode. So we have submitted the proposal for approval. We have also submitted the proposal for approval to the administrative department of school education,” Director SCERT, Veena Pandita told Greater Kashmir. “The final decision for holding the examination will be announced after getting the approval from the government,” she said.
