Big Update Regarding Kashmir University Exams


KU postpones all exams scheduled today


``Srinagar, Jan 5 (KB): It is notified for the information of all the concerned that due to inclement weather conditions, all UG/PG/Professional/B.Ed examinations of Kashmir University scheduled on 5-01-2022 (Wednesday) are hereby postponed. 

Fresh dates for the postponed papers will be issued separately, Controller of Examinations Prof Irshad A Nawchoo said. (KB --- Kashmir Bulletin)``

Government employees to get Rs 2000 ‘secretariat allowance’

Jammu: All J&K government employees working in civil secretariat Srinagar and Jammu as well as in the offices of Head of Departments (HoDs) situated outside the secretariat would get a “secretariat allowance” at a uniform rate of Rs 2000 per month. However, only the full-time government employees and not the employees on a contract, consolidated rates of pay, or part-time employees would be entitled to this allowance admissible throughout the year. The allowance has been granted with a retrospective effect from 1 November 2021.
