Latest Weather Update in J&K for next few days



Weather Update

Mostly dry weather is expected at most places in Jammu and Kashmir today.

Light rain/snow is possible at a few places in Jammu region and Ladakh (especially in Kargil district).

Except for a few places, dry weather is expected tomorrow as well.

Dry spell is expected to extend till 31 Jan as no significant system will be affecting J&K this Chillai-Kalan.

Due to absence of any weather system, cold wave conditions are expected in the coming days. (Kashmir Weather)

Government employees to get Rs 2000 ‘secretariat allowance’

Jammu: All J&K government employees working in civil secretariat Srinagar and Jammu as well as in the offices of Head of Departments (HoDs) situated outside the secretariat would get a “secretariat allowance” at a uniform rate of Rs 2000 per month. However, only the full-time government employees and not the employees on a contract, consolidated rates of pay, or part-time employees would be entitled to this allowance admissible throughout the year. The allowance has been granted with a retrospective effect from 1 November 2021.
