Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following two positions to be filled under research project entitled “Impact of Climatic Change on Honeybees & Innovative Strategies to Conserve Them for Pollination Services in Temperate Crops” funded under Competitive Grants Component (CGC) of the National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture(NICRA-CRIDA)-Hyderabad.

Name of the Post :
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Salary: Rs.31,000+HRA

Young Professional –I

Salary: Rs.25,000 – Rs.28,000

Essential Qualification:

B.Sc. Agriculture/Horticulture

Master’s degree in Entomology/Fruit Sciences

Desirable : Candidate with research experience on pollinators and pollination management in apple and other temperate fruits.

Government employees to get Rs 2000 ‘secretariat allowance’

Jammu: All J&K government employees working in civil secretariat Srinagar and Jammu as well as in the offices of Head of Departments (HoDs) situated outside the secretariat would get a “secretariat allowance” at a uniform rate of Rs 2000 per month. However, only the full-time government employees and not the employees on a contract, consolidated rates of pay, or part-time employees would be entitled to this allowance admissible throughout the year. The allowance has been granted with a retrospective effect from 1 November 2021.
